sisterly love

These girls amaze me.  They make my heart so full with their love for each other!  Don't get me wrong...they bicker. Yes, already they have little spats where they want a toy the other one has or want Mommy or Daddy to hold them at the same time.  But honestly, they have such a love for each other. Audrey will call her "the best baby sister ever" and Tessa will just walk up to Audrey and lay her head on her chest and lean into her for a hug.  I feel like I cannot take enough mental pictures of them like this (or real pictures for that matter).  I remember each of these moments vividly.  I want so badly to remember them forever.  I know I will remember some of them but mostly I suppose I will remember the way I felt seeing them together.  The sound of their laughter together.  The smiles on their faces.
Playing on the couch.  Audrey was trying to watch something on TV and Tessa thought it was hilarious to climb on top of her.  Audrey thought it was pretty funny that Tessa thought it was SO hilarious!
LOVE. IT. trying to hold her baby sister who is nearly as big as she is.  "you're squeezing me too tight sissy"

Teaching Tessa how to pop bubble wrap.  Neither girl got out of the box for quite some time.
I kept trying to get a picture of both of them this morning....Audrey was being so cooperative and smiley and sweet.  Tessa was being sweet but not about to sit still.
playing the kazoo...the wrong way :)

Audrey and I made homemade fudge popscicles and she was eating one.  Tessa was walking around playing and I came in the room and Tessa had fudge all over her mouth and face.  Audrey giggled and said "Mommy!!! Tessa LOVES the popscicle!" you don't say!?  Tessa stood right beside Audrey and just begged for more and more from her and Audrey obliged her. So I sat Tessa on the table for a few pics.  They were both so happy.

Introducing Tessa to playdough.  I stuck her paci in her mouth to discourage her eating it. Worked great!

Tessa has started trying to comfort Audrey when she is upset.
Audrey got put in time out and was crying.  Tessa went over, sat down and, though I didn't get a shot of it, right before this she was laying her head in Audrey's lap.  Then she sat up and patted her over and over.  It made Audrey feel much better, of course.
