We spent a morning at 3 Birds Berry Farm in Blacksburg a few weeks back. We felt a little more seasoned this time around and in no time we were toting baskets full to the brim with beautiful blueberries! Audrey loved it again and was a pro at picking.
I am borrowing an ergo carrier from a friend and it was SO helpful while we were there. I had to have Tessa up in my arms with the ground being uneven, slightly downhill and slippery from having just rained. It was perfect, though she was really only happy if Patrick kept her mouth full with a constant supply of blueberries.
Now we have blueberries frozen and we love pulling some out for pancakes, cobblers, muffins and fruit salad. We are hoping to make it back for blackberries this year!
