We started off Mother's Day with a nice breakfast (sausage gravy and biscuits! ) at home then took our time getting ready and heading out the door. ahhhhhh.
Tessa Kate was dedicated at church, which was a special time for our little family. She was so wiggly up there and was hard to hold onto.....which is normal for her. :)
She made her presence known the entire time by babbling and rubbing baby Kirk's head while he was asleep. Both of our families joined us and we had a very full pew, which made us so happy. We know Tessa has so many people who love her and will help us to raise her and encourage her to love God. For that, we are so thankful.
After quickly changing clothes and grabbing chicken (thanks Mom and Dad), we headed up on to Mill Mountain for lunch. It was so nice to have everyone together, both families. Patrick and I are so blessed that we have families that love each other and enjoy spending time together. We ate, opened some Mother's Day presents and cards, we walked up to the Star, the kids played. It was a great afternoon with our favorite people.

After that we headed home and did a whole bunch of nothing. We watched our silly girls play, Patrick planted some plants the girls got me for Mother's Day and we just relaxed.
It was a great day!!! Also....Patrick got me this print made by Katie Daisy.....I LOVE IT!
I cannot wait to hang it!!!!
