The stuff of now....

Our girls are growing and changing each and every day!  It is heartbreaking and joyous all at the same time.  I love seeing them grow and change and learn and thrive.  I also long to hold onto these moments with them. I will always feel this way I think.
Tessa is sitting up, log rolling all over the house.  She has just started the leg bounce thing, where she jumps when you stand her up while holding her.  She is eating great and just recently had peas and squash and loved both.  She is practicing a little with the sippy cup with a little water in it and is starting to get it a little.  Audrey gets excited for her to learn all these little things that are slowly but surely turning her into a playmate and companion.  Tessa likes any toy that is Audrey's and Audrey is pretty generous and sharing with her sister.  Tessa is a smiley happy girl.  She is currently cutting her top right tooth.  It's coming through a little at a time and taking it's sweet time.  She sleeps on her belly no matter what.  Even if you lay her on her side or back she flips over to her belly, shimmies her tushie in the air and goes right on to sleep.  Big sister evokes big smiles from her and she lights up when Audrey pays attention to her.  As long as she isn't crying.  If Audrey cries.....Tessa cries. Every time.

Audrey says the absolute funniest things.  She is maturing and is learning how to slow down and talk to us when she is upset instead of crying.  Big growth.  She is energetic and funny and sweet.  She gives lots of hugs and kisses and love.  She wants to play dress up and spin and dance.  If I act silly and dance around for even a second, she stops what she's doing jumps up and says "Let's dance!" and immediately starts dancing. We started her early with kitchen dance parties, so she's a pro now!:)
She is getting taller. She loves wearing headbands and they are pretty much the only thing she will let me put in her hair these days.  She still loves to be held.  Good thing she is tiny.:)  She is known to quote Disney movies from time to time.  She is learning to write her name and is always excited to show people how she can write an "A".  She is my sugar bear.
