28 weeks

I have a bit of an allergy (i hope) induced cold that is whoopin' me right now.  I was so hoping the rain would cut down on some of the pollen, and it may have, but I am still congested and so is Audrey.   I registered Tessa for one of those Nose Fridas.....I'm thinking I need it for big sister right about now too! Here's to hoping it moves on soon!
I will mark my 28th week of pregnancy tomorrow.  I feel (pregnancy wise) pretty good and am happy to say that baby girl is kicking like a champ.  I can tell that she is growing though, because her kicks are slowly moving out of the giant movement stage and more toward the pokes and jabs...so she is getting more squished, and will only get more so in the coming weeks.  She is likely weighing in at a little over 2 pounds.  She's also developing billions of neurons in her brain and adding more body fat in preparation for life in the outside world......so yeah, major human growing going on this week!:)  I love saying when someone asks me why I am tired "well, I am growing person inside of my body, and raising a person outside my body".  It's hard work man!
The third trimester is here and Patrick and I are more and more aware of the fact that we only have 12 weeks before she comes!  That's only 2 1/2 months or so....maybe less if Tessa is like her Big Sis and comes a week early!  I am very much looking forward to summer when I can really make some progress in the "Prepare for Tessa" endeavor!  As well as spend loads quality time with my Audrey...she is already gravitating towards Daddy for so many things, she knows I can't do as much in my very pregnant state and may be be realizing somewhat that Tessa is going to take up a lot of Mommy's time when she gets here.  She's still my girl, but if Daddy is home....HE is the playmate and the sun pretty much rises and sets on him.  I'm learning to embrace that a little more, as I know it will help me tremendously when I am nursing and caring for Tessa.  I hope I can have enough time for both my girls, my husband and still manage to sleep from time to time!
