Whew! The New Year has started fast and busy and shows no signs of slowing down. We have enjoyed some time just the three of us and spent New Years Day on Mill Mountain. We played on the playground, checked out the overlooks and walked up to the star.
We hit the zoo this past weekend with Audrey and Logan both, who thoroughly enjoyed the animals. We took Audrey almost every week this summer and she had missed seeing all her animal friends! It was a nice day and we all had fun.
Lots of baby talk around our house these days, as you can imagine. Audrey talks to the baby in my belly daily and she now says she has a baby in her belly. She will say "my baby kicking Mommy, feel it!" or when eating dinner she'll announce "this is yummy....baby likes it too!". She says I have a boy baby in my belly and she has a girl baby in hers....the kid is just too funny!
I go for my 12 week appointment today and I'm excited to see the baby again and talk to my doctor about my veins in my legs, which are already bothering me this time around! I'm already showing some though I was showing a little at 12 weeks with Audrey too....I think I am def. showing a bit more with this one. I will post some ultrasound pictures of the baby, who is about the size of a lime this week, as soon as I can.
