- She LOVES pretend play and is currently into pretending it's nap or bedtime. She says "night night, sleep tight", or she'll lay her head down and say "I take a rest". She likes for her babies, stuffed animals and even us to pretend to sleep too, and she'll say "Mommy, sleep tight" and then say "Good morning!!!" the entire time rearranging pillows, blankets, and rolling around to get herself situated for her make believe rest time.
- She still loves pretend play with babies (diaper changes and feeding especially), cooking and has a tea party daily.
- She has become quite the show off when somebody comes to our house...she brings toys out to show them, she spins around and acts super silly, she even dances.
- Speaking of dancing.....the girl has moves. She loves to "shake her booty", as she says.
- The girl eats pretty much anything! Whatever I make for dinner, she eats and loves. Often while we are having dinner together she will stop digging in for just a moment to exclaim "It's really really good!". :) It's great! She also gives Mommy lots of help in the kitchen.
- She can't bare for her Daddy to be out of her sight for a minute when he's home. She simply MUST go everywhere with him.....she insists!
- She understands timeout and it's effective. She doesn't get it often, but when she does, she sits {and sobs} and gets up after her minute is up and is sorry and gives hugs. Hoping this {easy} form of discipline will continue to work for us.
- She loves water play. Loves her water table and any opportunity to get wet while I am watering flowers.
- She can tell you her first,middle, and last name! It sounds something like this "Audy Elisbeth Hahmon". We absolutely LOVE to hear her say it!
- She can spell her first name.....getting it correct much of the time.
- She can tell you Mommy's name is Ashley and Daddy's name is Patrick.
- She can sing a variety of songs and always has a specific one she wants to sing or for us to sing. In the car when she's getting cranky, we will say, "do you want to sing a song?" and she'll say "yes", so I say "oh, how about the wheels on the bus?" or some other song I know she likes, and usually she says "no, sing Itsy Bitsy Spida", or whatever her song choice is. :)
- She has developed a super duper love of Popsicles, ice cream, lollipops and chocolate. Oh my!
- She enjoys helping me sew. She likes to stand on the chair behind me or sit in my lap while I work. One day I will get her her own little machine and teach her.
- In the mornings after I get her dressed, she will look in the mirror or go tell her Daddy "I so cute!".
- She is wearing 18-24 month clothes with some 2T stuff thrown in......she's still petite and tiny, but growing so much.
Enjoying all the wonderful moments that come with having a beautiful, smart and hilarious little GIRL!
