I had a wonderfully productive weekend and completed several sewing projects! I made Audrey's Bitty baby a new reversible dress, made Audrey a precious felt crown...which she has been wearing pretty much non stop since, I whipped up another washcloth, and started a few baby gifts for a few of the many friends who are pregnant right now. Seeing all these pregnant bellies is making me nostalgic! I'm looking forward to a weekend with no classes...I have been taking classes for recertification points...can you believe I've been teaching for 5 years already!? Seems like I just graduated! Time flies!
Audrey discovered a new favorite "friend" over the weekend. Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street is a tiny fairy superstar in our house right now! Seriously...the girl can't get enough. She has even been dreaming of Abby. Last night she was a little restless and I heard her on the monitor whispering..."Abby....Abby Cababby"! Hilarious! We are NOT big on Audrey watching much TV, but Abby is a sweet little character, who is all about eating her brocolli "hurray hurrah for broccoli", she says and she loves learning new words. So, a little Abby Cadabby here and there is just fine with us. Plus...it's precious to hear her talk about her! Honestly...I really love Abby Cadabby too! Go to sesamestreet.org and you too can become a super Abby fan! :)
Audrey is still popping new teeth through...what seems like constantly! Her poor little gums are suffering. Two top molars are now in and the bottom two are right under the surface and are really bugging her. She's also got a little cold, so we are doing lots of snuggling....but we snuggle that girl all the time, so it's really no different!:)
Patrick got a haircut and shaved and no longer looks quite so much like a mountain man...which I very much like!:) Things are busy with him at school....oh middle school! He's really enjoying his time off from mowing, and it's so nice having him home for dinner every night! But Spring will be here before we know it, and we'll have to adjust again.....we're enjoying it while it lasts though. :)
