Well, all my sewing is done and all the gifts are all wrapped and nestled under the tree. We are mostly in relaxed, holiday mode now. Just waiting for the big day to arrive! Audrey is starting to lose patience with waiting to unwrap a gift or two. They are so tempting, just laying under the tree in all their sparkly beauty! Aside from dragging ones for her and her cousin Logan around by their ribbons (which she uses as handles to carry them by) she has shown great self control!....however....yesterday, she had something in her mouth, and I asked her to spit it out and give it to me, so she did and it was a tiny piece of wrapping paper that she had torn off of a package. I guess it looked delicious! I found the package that she tasted laying in her doll bed...it's one from her to her Uncle Jamie...so I guess since it's from her, she thought she could do with it as she pleased!:)
We are getting excited to wake up Christmas morning and see the joy in Audrey's eyes as she sees her presents and has a day full of playing with fun new things. We are also doing lots of talking about baby Jesus around here. Playing with her nativity, reading books and singing Happy Birthday to baby Jesus. The girl loves to sing Happy Birthday to anyone! She finds it so thrilling!:)
A very Merry Christmas to all our family and friends! We love you all and hope you get the chance to see the holidays through a child's eyes, as we are, and experience the joy and laughter the holidays bring!
