Craft overload anyone!? I have about 9,001 projects floating in my head, or started but not finished, or supplies pulled out and gathered up in a little pile...that is still sitting....waiting.....!
This makes me a little bonkers!
I made new curtains for my kitchen. They are quite pretty and just what I wanted....however, they are hanging, but I haven't finished tacking the gathers up yet. So they are clearly....unfinished.
I have fabric stacked all over my sewing/craft area. It's a mess! And it's likely to stay that way...I'm okay with it. Each evening I just make sure my sewing machine is off, the scissors and pins are all way out of reach of my girls curious hands and turn off the light.
I have several Christmas gifts that I am making this year....ambitious, I know! But it brings me so much joy! I love the thrill of choosing a project and a person that I want to make it for, then putting time, energy, and sweat into making it, and seeing the (usually) awesome results! I have been getting better and better on my machine and attempting more and more things that I have been scared of for a while. This weekend....ZIPPERS! It's like a little surge of adrenaline for me. I have a few completely done, some started, and some that will just have to wait and be birthday gifts or something.
The problem is....I think I have too many ideas......I just need a little more time before Christmas, in order to get it all done! Or maybe I need to stay off the internet, where I constantly find new ideas and inspiration which makes me keep adding to my list of things I want to get done before the holiday. :)
