Three day weekends should be the new normal! I loved having three days off in a row. We hung around the house on Saturday wiping Audreys runny nose. She picked up a cold and has been pretty uncomfortable with it. She had been sleeping through the night...like all the way through, not needing Mommy until morning!!! A moment to jump up and down for that! I didn't blog about it though, because I was affraid I might jinx myself! But for right now, with this yucky cold, she is back to needing my comforts, cuddles, nose sucking, and nursing in the middle of the night. I hope we get back to it though!
Sunday we went to the land and had a nice...and warm....day with family. Patrick did lots of fishing and floating in innertubes down the creek while Audrey and I laid on a big quilt under one of the giant maples, played and tried to avoid bugs. We had a cookout that night on my parents land with them, some friends and Patricks parents even joined us. It was nice to have everyone together. We had planned on staying the night, but Audrey was still had a runny nose and we were ready to get her home and comfortable.
Monday was pretty much like Saturday, low key, snuggling and wiping the girls nose all day. I am so hoping that this cold passes quickly without going into her ears! Fingers crossed for us, please! We had a nice dinner, just the three of us Monday night and went and got shakes and visited with some neighbors and enjoyed the nice evening weather.
We are still counting the days to summer and I am making a vow that I will have a productive summer. I want to accomplish at least some of my goals for summer!
I have severl new pictures of Audrey to share and I will post those as soon as I get time one evening...after Audreys bedtime....after I have finished cleaning up the kitchen....and if I don't pass out on the couch. :)

Jenna has had a stuffy nose this weekend too. She and I sat in the bathroom with the shower on several times. We also elevated her bed. I was worried about it turning into an ear infection because we are flying to CA on Thursday. However it seems everything we did made her better. I hope Audrey gets better soon!
