Happy Thanksgiving!

Love this Fall outfit!

Our Little Turkey

Well we have had our first major holiday as a family of three! We had a very nice Thanksgiving and Audrey was of course the life of the party...even though she snoozed most of the time. My sister in law, Julie Ann made a list on her blog about what she is thankful for....so to take a note from her, here is the short list:
1. Most of all, a healthy baby girl who has captured our hearts in three short weeks. We are so fortunate that she got here safely and with no complications....and come on people, could she be more perfect!?
2. My husband
3. Family....everyone that does so much to make us feel so loved.
4. Boppies, BJorn's and Slings......who knew three things could hold such value!? :)

Like I said...this is a short list, and seeing as how I have gone from blogging two or three times a week to once every two weeks....you can understand.

As for Audrey, she is doing great! She is growing and filling out her newborn clothes more everyday. They still fit her and 0-3 months clothes still swallow her, but her feet are reaching the ends and we know it's a matter of weeks before she is out of them. She is rolling through the diapers...we need to buy stock in Pampers. She is nursing well, not too many foods that I am eating seems to bother her. Although we have found a few (broccoli is one, which is a veggie I normally love, but even when I was pregnant, it repulsed me, maybe she was making the call then too!), plus I am pretty careful about what I eat. She loves to sleep and is hard to wake....she makes the funniest grunts and squirms when she is trying to wake up...we think she sounds like a little duckling.:) Her hair is still so dark and full....I absolutely love it and am almost hoping it stays dark, although, it will most likely turn out blonde....which will suit her beautifully too! Her eyes are getting so blue and pretty and she loves to hold your finger with her sweet little hand and look up at you with those big eyes. Can you tell I am smitten with her?!:)

Patrick goes back to school this upcoming week, which will be so hard for him to leave her all day and I will certainly miss having the time with him.

Hopefully I will find more time to blog over the next week, although I can make no promises, since my day to day schedule can be a little packed and unpredictable. It takes me forever just to get myself and her ready to make a quick run to the store, but I am having the time of my life with her and can't imagine doing anything more rewarding with my days.
