39 weeks!

Almost 39 weeks! I know, many of you thought I would have this baby before November arrived, but here we are. I must remind you that her due date is not until November 10 ....so despite me making some notable progress in the dialation and effacement department...she has still not outstayed her welcome. In the "new developments" department of growing life....at 39 weeks, there really are none. Her weight and inches gain should pretty much be leveling off and she is just squirming around in there enjoying the warmth of my womb! Maybe that's why she hasn't decided to make an early appearance...it's chilly out! Doesn't she know how many blankets, clothes, booties and hats she has!? :)
I have felt fairly decent in recent days (considering) and have had little spurts of energy during the days to get many things done here at the house. I am feeling the need to tie up loose ends, b/c I know once the baby arrives I will not have the time or energy to do those things. My nights are very restless though. I toss and turn a lot, mostly because I am just uncomfortable no matter what I do or how I position myself.
I go back to the doctor tomorrow and will hopefully have a good idea of when to expect this little one after that appointment.
We did get her carseat installed in the Volvo this weekend which was a nice thing to check off the list. It's a little strange driving around with an empty carseat, but it won't be empty for long!
