I had my 16 week doctor's appointment today. I was thrilled to go, as usual, b/c having the doctor check me and listen to the babies heartbeat is always reassuring. I am nearly halfway to my due date! Wow!
The appointment went well; he used the doppler on my belly so we could hear the heartbeat....and it was in the 150-160 range. I thought it sounded like it was beating fast, and the doctor said the baby was VERY active and that the heartrate was great, which is always a good thing! I love that sound...and even after several visits and hearing that beautiful beating heart several times, I am still just totally amazed at the life inside of me! The doctor also said things looked great with me and was pleased with my almost pound and a half weight gain. Slow and steady wins the race:)
I find myself having so much more energy and no longer feel the need for daily naps. Obviously, I am more tired than most people, but that only makes sense and I am happy to be feeling more like myself!
