Back to school

 Back to school we go!  

Audrey was a sweetheart on her first preschool morning.  I cannot get over how much bigger she looks compared to last year!  She is the type of kid that when something big is going on, she wants a little less "big deal" made out of it.  She wants the hug and kiss (usually) and the reassurance, and play by play about where, what, who, when....but not a bunch of lovin' or pictures.  She was happy to do a few pics and give me a hug.  I was happy to get that and happy that she was comfortable and happy about going to school.  Although she did ask me for several days the first week I was back at school...."are you staying home with us today?"  ....sigh....I wish!

It has been a good first few weeks back to school.  But, it has been busy! We are finding our balance, remembering QUICKLY that we must say NO to some things to save our sanity, give our girls time to relax and slow down a bit, get in bed on time, spend quality time as a family, and feel less rushed and hurried.  I look forward to cooler weather, pumpkins on our front porch, holidays, and anything pumpkin flavored!
