Growing up overnight

What happened?
Somehow....literally overnight....Tessa learned to do all these new things.
She aged several months in just one night.
No kidding.

Over the weekend Tessa Kate started crawling.  Real crawling.  She had been army crawling or crawling one or two real crawls before wearing out.  Now the girl makes it across the room in no time.  She is pretty proud of herself and often sits up and claps for herself. :)
She also started self feeding a little.  Or at least attempting to self feed.  Two days ago I would put puffs in front of her and she didn't even attempt to pick them up and put them in her mouth.  Now, she grabs them with her hand and tries hard to get them in her mouth.  She is still at that phase where they are still in her chubby little fist when she pulls her hand away from her mouth most of the time but she is trying and making progress.
She sits up in her bed and throws things out now too.  Paci's are on the floor, blankets overboard. I often find her sitting in her bed after nap playing quietly with her crib toy.
After both naps yesterday, after getting her out of her bed she just sat on my lap in my arms snuggling for the longest time.  I loved every minute of that.  I hope that is the beginning of a little more time snuggling with Mama after waking up.  That is one of my favorite times with Audrey as well.  After nap they are slightly sweaty, still sleepy, their eyes are a little puffy and they just want to be held. I LOVE THAT SO MUCH!
Tessa has also become the most difficult child I have ever tried to change in all my life.  I have changed many diapers in my life.....but Tessa is hands down the wiggliest and difficult to date.  She is down right determined to get away.  Whether it's a quick diaper change or heaven help me....full outfit change.....the girl is not having it.  I have resorted to putting her on the floor so that I can put my leg over her chest....gently of course.  She wails like it's torture and then the minute you stop trying to change her the screaming stops......immediately she turns it off.  Getting that girl dressed should be considered an Olympic sport.  I deserve a Gold Medal!  :)
