We have thoroughly enjoyed Spring Break! It's not over yet, but we have been busy and although I have not gotten as much done around the house as I had hoped, I have done the most important thing....spent some serious quality time with my girl! We have run errands and had mommy Audrey lunches, played outside on the warm days, and cuddled inside reading books, doing puzzles, and playing lots of babies and doctor on the cooler days.

Daddy has been working a lot lately, but when he gets home....it's like the world has stopped spinning and it's just the two of them! Her squeals of delight and seeing her run to the door to meet him is truly so sweet. He got home the other day and she jumped off the couch with me and as she ran to meet him at the door she said "I'm so happy!!!" It's very sweet.
We're working on recognizing numbers and this cool Melissa & Doug number matching set from Gigi and Grandpa is perfect for that! Plus, it's like a puzzle, so Audrey is doubly fascinated!
Ghee and Papa got Audrey Hi Ho Cherry-O! for Easter and Audrey has asked to play the game everyday this week. It's great for her to learn to take turns and wait her turn as well as counting the cherry's!
