Harmon Family Shenanigans

Well, right after Audrey's birthday party, she came down with hand foot and mouth. It was a terrible week with our girl feeling just awful. We have never had such a bad sickness in our house and we're hoping that we are through the woods with sickness this season! One can hope!

Audrey had her 2 year check up this past tuesday and it went great....aside from the fact that she DID NOT want to be examined at all! She was not cooperative for anything but the weight, height and head circumference check. But that is kind of to be expected....she's 2 and doesn't want a stranger touching her. Dr. Althouse retired and we are now seeing Dr. Craft, who is wonderful, but as far as Audrey's concerned he is a stranger and needs to only speak to her, but not touch her. Anyway, she is 24 pounds and healthy, smart and meeting developmental benchmarks ahead of schedule, what a blessing! He did mention that it was about time to nix the Mimi......oh lord help us when we try to climb that mountain! It's not the right time for our family right now....but soon!!!!! yikes.

We are looking so forward to Thanksgiving which will provide us with a little break, some time together, some time with family and hopefully some time to catch up, clean up and get ready for Christmas. I'm already thinking this sounds like too much to fit into a four day span.
