Making Biscuits

Audrey loves to participate in just about everything I am doing and I find that one of the best ways to teach her things while also spending time with her doing things that go beyond playing. I involve her in a LOT of cooking and preparing of meals. She loves to sit on the counter while I chop veggies (and eat them while I am doing it), she likes helping me measure out and stir, she loves helping me crush bread crumbs or crackers in baggies and even shake the meat around in a baggie full of marinade. Making biscuits is one of her favorites though. She always gets to pour ingredients in the bowl after I measure them, then she enjoys helping me roll and her favorite job is to use the biscuit cutters to cut them then place them on the pan for baking. She even loves tasting the dough.:)

She also loves to rinse dishes, use the swiffer to dust and the swiffer sweeper to sweep. She is definitely my little domestic diva!
