Sinkland Farms 2011

We went to the Pumpkin Patch this morning! We headed up to Sinkland Farms and when we got there we realized they didn't open until 1! It was 10:30. Luckily, we know the Sinks! We walked around little and talked to the man who takes care of the farm animals, and he was so kind and let us check out all the animals and told us about many of them. It was pretty chilly and windy, so we were bundled up, but since we were the only ones there, we had some time for just the three of us to walk around, walk through mazes, pick out some pumpkins and work up an appetite for lunch at Cracker Barrel, where we headed to after the pumpkin patch!

The calf we saw was only 3 days old! That's a BIG 3 day old! :) This little guy was, quite possibly, the high light of the farm visit. A little 2 month old goat. The man let him out for us and he ran around like a little puppy. Audrey LOVED him and so did I. She sept saying "I want to pet him...come here...let me pet you". But he was pretty quick, though she did get to pet him a few times.

Audrey and I posing in front of the world largest horse....not really, but she is seriously HUGE!!! She's a belgian work horse, and was enormous! She kept sniffing Audrey's pants leg, and it made her a little uneasy...Audrey, that is! Patrick and Audrey fed her some hay.
