A potty update

So this post is more for me....to look back on, when my girl is grown. Read on if you wish....

We have been officially potty training Audrey, as in, NO diapers at all, except nap and bedtime, for a week and a day. Just taking her potty every 30 minutes or so, asking her often and changing panties for a new pair if they get wet, and actually letting her wear dresses and no panties at all much of the time we are home, the "naked tooshie" has been very effective and has really decreased the accidents. I think it's made her more aware of her nether regions and therefore she's sensing the urge to go.
She is doing AWESOME! She's 21 months old, and potty training! That's exceptional, if you ask me!:)
Yesterday was a totally dry day, with only one little dribble in her panties, which she stopped and finished in the potty. We spent the whole first week at home, which I think is crucial to potty training!, with only two super short trips out. Once to music class, where Audrey stayed dry the entire time gone and even used the potty there, and once to the grocery store, where she also stayed dry and told me when she needed to use the potty!
She's really doing great and is currently napping, in panties. She always wakes from her naps dry, so I thought we'd give it a try.
Yay for Audrey for being such a big girl!
