20 months

As a big 20 month old girl, Audrey Elizabeth is:

• Singing songs constantly. She loves loves loves to sing and breaks into song throughout the day. She's getting quite good too!


• She enjoys nursery rhythms and can recite many of them as well.


• She can operate our lever handled doors throughout the house.




• Loves to play make believe! She is always pretending she's a caterpillar, a baby, a fairy, a butterfly.....and the list goes on. She has a great imagination and will be playing with her blocks and building and then take a stack of the blocks and fly them through the air saying "it's an airplane, whoosh"! I love this big imagination!!! So Fun!!!



• Drinks from a regular cup...no sippy lid or straw! We certainly still use one when leaving the house or she needs a drink when we're not sitting in the kitchen or at the table, but she is awesome at drinking from a big girl cup! She's so careful and it makes her so excited! :) I love that it's truly the little things that give her a thrill!



• Is SUCH A SNUGGLER! She wants more and more to snuggle up on me....loving it!



• Is asking for a baby sissy and baby brother. Yep, she comes right out and says "I want baby sissy/brother".



• Never wants to take off her jammies. But who can blame her!


• Cracks us up when she asks to go somewhere or do something and follows it up with "It be fun!". So cute!



• Is great at helping clean up, sweeping, putting things where we ask her to put them, throwing things away, using a baby wipe to wipe off the coffee table, and following my directions. She's still a one year old though...she has her moments;)
  
  4 more months before she is two!!!!! I'm already planning her shindig!:)
