Easter Bunny LOVE

We had a little girl fun on Monday...Mom, Audrey and I. We went shoe shopping for Audrey and got her two little pairs of precious Stride Rite sandals for Spring and Summer. Then we had a little extra time before meeting the guys for dinner, so we took her to the mall for a little Easter Bunny visit. We both anticipated her being a little fearful of the GIANT bunny, but I decided I'd let her see him and see how she felt. I am so NOT that Mom to put her on lap of a scary person/creature that she is not wanting to go to. If she says no way, then no way it is.

We got there, and like always Tanglewood was pretty deserted. There is a precious fairy tale themed display with cute little motorized creatures and the Easter Bunny was walking around handing out coloring books. She went right up to him and after recieving her coloring book (the girl loves to color...and she loves presents) she decided he was a friend! She followed him around and when I asked her if she'd like to sit in his lap she said "Yes!", so I put her down and she walked right up to where he had sat down and reached up for him and said "hold me Bunny". Adorable! She loved the whole experience. :) What a great Easter Memory!

and check out her cute new shoes! Then on our way out she spotted the cars. She...I mean WE, just had to take a ride. That was a tight squeeze for Mommy. But when that little voice says "Mommy, sit peas"....I can't resist humoring her.

We are looking so forward to a weekend of Easter egg hunts, cute dresses, and family time. Followed by a much needed week long Spring Break! Ahhhhh......I can feel my muscles relaxing already!

We have been practicing a little with Audrey for egg hunting, just so she gets the concept a little. She likes to find them and rehide them....however she hides them all in the same place, on her Nod Chair, then covers them with a pillow. It's like the Easter jackpot when you move that pillow!:)
