Toddler Talk

I love the toddler pronunciation of words. Audrey speaks really well and pronounces and says most words clearly and correctly....which is so nice! But it's adorable to hear that sweet little voice say a word with funny little extra syllables. One word that she says particularly cute is cookie........she says "cookoway"! It's funny that Patrick and I can understand almost everything she's saying, even the toddler talk. It's rare that she says something that we are both baffled by. Usually if I am unclear of what she's saysing, Patrick knows what it is, and the other way around. If we are both unsure of what she is telling us or asking for....we say....."show us!"

She loves "cookoway's". Who doesn't really!? We generally take a cue from Cookie Monster, and remind Audrey that cookies are a sometimes food. But she usually responds by signing more and saying "cookoway"! :)
