14 months old!

We thought the Audrey's first year was flying by....and now the second year is too! Slooooow Doooown!:)
Our girl is so happy and sweet!

Her vocabulary is incredible and people are always so surprised that she's 14 months. They think she's a bit younger, b/c she's petite, but then, as soon as she starts talking, they think she's much older.

Audrey loves pretend play. She loves to play with her baby dolls, and she's never playing with just one baby. She always has multiple that she is tending to.:) She LOVES to have tea parties! We got her a tea set from Green Toys(if you're looking for a good one....this one is awesome!) and she loves to set up her little placemats I made her, put out the cups, saucers and spoons and pour her tea. It even has a little sugar bowl and creamer with it. She sets it up then goes to choose special friends to join her at her tea party! She always gets her stuffed frog, and then another bear or sheep and pretends to give them sips of their tea. She takes little sips herself and always includes Mommy or Daddy in the party, by giving us a taste. It's too cute!!! The tea set is food and dishwasher safe too, so it will be fun when she's a little bigger to put water in her teapot for her to play with! Oh! and to make little biscuits for her to serve! Seriously....I love having a girl!!! She also loves her play kitchen and brings us different foods to taste, and fully expects a "yumyum" and a "how delicious!" from whoever she is giving a treat too!

Audrey is only nursing in the morning and at night before bed now, and we're both happy with that. She's drinking lots of water, juice (diluted), and soy milk during the day. The girl loves food, and loves to eat, and begs for veggies when she sees them cooking on the stove and can't understand that they're not ready to eat just yet. She loves fruit most of all and has a new major love for oranges! Pears, apples and grapes are her other favorites. Her favorite veggies are broccoli and green beans and loves them both cooked, but cold.
She cracks us up daily and she is ticklish and silly.
She loves to feed the dogs their food....piece by piece....we discourage this! She LOVES those dogs! and the cat too!
She loves to lay down in the tub on her tummy and kick her feet like she's swimming....she's gonna love the pool this summer.
She loves our nightly reading time. She will get all cozied up on the floor in her room by arranging our pillows, pulling a blanket down, then choosing 3 or 4 books. She'll lean against the pillows, pull her blanket over her and say "mommy!, bouh" (book). We snuggle up and read until bath time. She always knows the one she wants to read next and always chooses her lift the flap bible as one of her books to read before bed.

Audrey is such a joy and so much fun! And she's growing up so fast!!!
