Tis the season

We headed into downtown Roanoke Friday night to watch the Christmas Parade and to walk around Hotel Roanoke and look at the dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas Trees on display. Some were really fun and elaborate!

Audrey is meeting an elf. You should have seen the way she looked at them....I think she was trying to determine if they too were toddlers!:)

Ready to head home! It was a little past her bedtime, but we all three had a great time! We are definitely going again next year!

We didn't get any pictures of the parade...with all the people, and holding Audrey, and managing the stroller...we figured we would remember it with mental pictures.

Audrey loved getting up on her Daddy's shoulders to see the horses decked out in jingle bells and evergreen garland, pulling a carriage! That is one of those Christmas moments I am storing to memory forever.
