Audrey Elizabeth is 9 months old and we are still scratching our heads trying to figure out where the time went! I know I have said this for pretty much every stage she's been in...but i truely LOVE this age! 6-9 months has been so much fun! Partly, I'm sure, because I have gotten to be home with my girl, but it's also a really fun fun stage!
As a big 9 month old girl, Audrey is crawling everywhere and has really gained speed...she can move! She's also climbing up on stuff and pulling up all the time. She walks while holding our hands and occasionally will stand on her own, but only for a mere moment. She has lots of leg control, but she's still a little unsure about it. We are trying to teach her to get down from places she's climbed onto by having her lay on her belly and slide till she feels the floor under her feet.
Her vocabulary is growing too. She LOVES making noises by flicking her tongue around, rubbing her wrist back and forth across her mouth and of course gently smacking her mouth while making noise. It's too funny and she does it all the time. She definetly lets us know what she wants.
Audrey also loves music and will dance to any beat! We listen to the radio alot and we play her kiddie cd's a lot too. Not to mention the fact that the majority of her toys are musical in some way.
She's ticklish and loves to have us blow raspberries on her belly, or leg, and will recipricate now...which is histerical!!!
She is into EVERYTHING! She doesn't leave a stone unturned. She gives high fives, waves hello and bye bye constantly, blows kisses, and loves to flash that adorable smile and those beautiful blue eyes at people!
