In denial!

Last night Patrick said to me...

"Summer is almost over...we're on the final countdown!"

WHAT!?!?!

I told him that was ridiculousness! We still had a month and that I didn't want to talk about such craziness anymore and that he shouldn't bring it up again!

Then I started thinking....I have four weeks! Only FOUR WEEKS!

Only four more weeks to soak up every single minute of stay at home mommyhood! I am so sad! Look at this girl! How can I not want to be here with her all day everyday.....all year long!?

We have enjoyed .............

Lots of lazy mornings in our jammies...

Serious silly moments....especially out of these two... eating lots of watermelon and canteloupe, and magenta melon and sprite melon....(we've bought a lot of melons this summer)
witnessing our girl achieve so many developmental milestones this summer....

and LOTS of playing!!!

We have also enjoyed a few trips, some nice relaxing time on our land in the country, are leaving for the beach next week and are having friends visit from out of town the following week. We have spent lots of time with family and friends and have spent the majority of our summer as a family of three...playing, laughing, and for Patrick and I.....exchanging smiles and laughs and "did you see her!?" 's while witnessing our beautiful girl grow up before our eyes. This summer will not soon be forgotten....and I know...I know....it's not over yet! I have four weeks! But that still seems like such a short amout of time.
