Audrey is 6 months old today! A half a year! She is growing and thriving and gets more beautiful each day. I must say, this age, 6 months, is soooo much fun! She interacts and plays....it's a blast! Here are just a few of the things she is doing right now:Audrey is sitting up like a pro. She is pretty stable and is great at catching herself if she starts to topple.
She's really exploring her toys and seems to study them as she moves them around in her hands. The tags of toys are usually her favorite part!
She gives hugs and open mouthed kisses.....be still my heart!
She reaches her arms up for me to pick her up when she's sitting on the floor....I love it!
She prefers Mama to anyone, she is my girl and I feel such joy that she is mine!
She says "da da" alllll the time. So sweet! She lights up when Daddy gets home. She plays with such unabashed vigor with him...it's wonderful to watch.
She sits in her high chair and enjoys eating. She likes to hold her spoon, but also likes when Mama does it for her.
She chews on anything that will fit in her mouth and sometimes gets frusterated with things that won't. She's so active and leans, reaches and grabs for everything. She loves to explore and play with things that are Mommy and Daddys.
She loves to dig in her toy basket.
She claps her hands together when we say "Yay!"
She is trying to figure out the crawling thing....I'm not ready for this one!
She loves to be held and played with, talked to, showed how things work.
She loves music and being danced around.
The dogs are endless entertainment for her.
She is endless entertainment and joy for us!!!
I cannot even begin to describe how much we love her and how beautiful, perfect, sweet and happy she is. We are so lucky to be her parents. It's been the greatest 6 months!
I know the next 6 months will be just as wonderful with our beautiful girl!
