Check up

Audrey had her 4 month check up at the pediatrician yesterday and did great. She is 13lbs. 12oz. and 25 inches long! Wow! She has gained 6 lbs. since birth and a whopping 6 1/2 inches. The doctor says she is long and lean and just right. She showed off her new tricks for him (the transferring toys and toe holding that I mentioned the other day) and he was impressed. He said that those are 5 and 6 month milestones and that she was developmentally ahead of the game! Now, WE know she is exceptional and very smart, but it's so nice for a professional to say so!:) She recieved 2 shots and an oral vaccine. She is such a trooper. She of course made this terribly pitiful face when she recieved the shots and cried until I picked her up (which of course was as soon as the nurse was done), but she whimpered for only a moment after I held her in my arms. What a tough little girl....I get more bent out of shape getting shots than she did!
She goes back in 2 months...when she'll be 6 months old and starting solids!! ! Let's slow down a little, time is going way to fast!
I have a ton of cute new pics to post, but can't seem to find the time in the evenings when I have our camera card.....life is very busy right now...I'll get them up here soon!:)
