Our little Audrey is truckin' her way through her 2nd month of life. She is 10 1/2 weeks old and changing constantly! She has great head control, loves to be held in a sitting position, and even uses her back and tummy muscles to try to sit herself up, although she can't do it yet, she is going to love it when she can. She's not a huge fan of tummy time, but endures it for brief periods throughout the day, during which she moves her little legs like she's going to just crawl right off. She has started drooling and is just a little fountain at times. She smiles the sweetest smile, gurgles, makes tons of little babbling noises and loves when we repeat her noises back to her....she'll then make another noise and wait for us to do the same....it's too funny. We read books daily and she loves to look at the brightly colored pages and hear us make animal noises. She is nursing well and growing so fast. Some of her 0-3 month sleepers are already getting short....with her toes poking at the ends of the feet. She has slept better the last few nights and we have started to feel more rested during the days thanks to that. Patrick and I have so much fun with her and we have no idea what we did or talked about before we had her. We took one of our long walks in the woods with the dogs the other day (since we are having such nice weather right now) and put Audrey in her Bjorn. We have walked with her before in the carrier, but this time she was much more alert and aware. She kept her eyes wide open the entire time just taking it all in. We are really looking forward to spring when we can make these outdoor excursions more often. I will post a new picture soon....as you can imagine, she gets more beautiful by the day!:)
