Patrick and I's calendar is totally crazy for the next 3 weeks or so....and as I was looking at our FULL calendar, wondering when we might find time to relax just the two of us, before we become just the 3 of us, I started counting.............47 days until my due date! WHOA! We are so excited that it's getting so close, but also a little anxious, b/c as with anyone expecting their first child, there is still much to do!
Mom came over this week and spent several hours hard at work in the nursery. She painted all the trim in the room as well as primered the dresser. This dresser was one shared by my mom and her sister (my Aunt Alice) when they were young girls, then it was mine when I was a girl and now it will be Audrey's. But after nearly 50 years, we decided it needed to be freshened up a bit! There is also a twin bed that matches it, that will get a fresh coat of paint, but we figure we can save that for when she is ready to sleep in it. Although, as quickly as time passes....that time will be here before we know it!
Patrick and I can't thank Mom enough for her hard work to help make our baby girls room a place that she will love to be in!
