This week marks the last week of the seventh month and drives home the fact that there are really only 2 more months before our daughter arrives!
31 weeks finds baby girl weighing in at around 3 plus pounds and growing to nearly the length she will be at birth. She's a smart little cookie and can percieve information from all five senses (except for smell, of course....since she is submerged in amniotic fluid). She is sleeping more deeply these days, getting that good REM sleep we all need, and is definetly developing new movement patterns. I am noticing that she is sleeping and still more often and for longer periods than before, as she is #1 sleeping deeper and #2 beginning to run out of room in there. I am vigilant with my kick counts and do love to feel her move, as it gives me reassurance that all is well in there.
Patrick and I both had our first day with students today and we both had a good day. I found it's a little different teaching when you are nearly 8 months pregnant, but the kids were great and we both feel like it will be a good school year.
