27 weeks

Wow! This is the last week of the second trimester and time is flying by....our baby girl this week is really growing! She weighs at least 2 pounds and....get this....is 15 inches long! Take a minute and hold your hands about 15 inches apart....that is big! No wonder I am feeling sooo much movement from her. I am still feeling really good, although I will not be sad to see the temperatures give way to some cooler weather. No real problems to speak of, other than some cramps in my legs occasionally and some lower back pain here and there. All in all, I have been very lucky to have had a terrific pregnancy so far. Here is a bump picture that Patrick took early this morning. As you can tell, the bump is GROWING quite a bit. I have looked back at some earlier bump shots (when I thought I was "big") and I look tiny in comparison to now. I am loving my baby bump though, I love feeling her movement inside of me(most of the time) and love pregnancy in general! It's a beautiful thing!
