24 weeks

Today marks 24 weeks! Time seems to be flying! I had my monthly checkup this afternoon and my doctor said everything looked great! We had an ultrasound and they were able to get a good view of the front of her face and they said she looked perfect. She is growing quite a bit and currently weighs 1 pound 7 oz. The doctor said she is definitely still a girl! She was very active throughout the appointment and her heart rate was 149 bpm. This week she is continuing to put on fat; her organs, muscles and bones are growing more and more and she now has eyelashes and eyebrows! The doctor said I looked good and gave us lots of information about different things to be aware of over the next month. My blood pressure and weight were on target as well. We signed up for our Prepared Childbirth Class that will be starting in September and we're looking forward to that. Just talking about entering the third trimester in a month is hard to believe! Time is flying and Fall will be here before we know it!

One of the pictures you are looking at looks like she is blowing a bubble, but that's actually her umbilical cord. The bottom left picture is a shot of her feet. She's just so cute!
