So, I went for my 12 week apointment yesterday and my oh my how that baby is growing. In just a matter of two weeks, the baby looks so much bigger! The heartrate has lowered back down to 153, which is totally normal and the ultrasound technician said 2 weeks ago that it would lower to the 150's and remain there throughout the rest of the pregnancy.
The baby was super active yesterday, doing little sumersaltz, flips and turns right before my eyes! I was in total amazment at how much it was moving around and yet I can't feel a thing, although that will come in a few weeks.
We started off looking at the right side and suddenly it flipped itself around so we could check out that left side. Then as if it suddenly decided to be shy, he/she rolled itself over and we got a great view of it's little back, spine, and what is sure to be the worlds cutest rear end!:) At one point we got a great view of one tiny hand with a perfect 4 fingers and thumb!
It was a great appointment and I got lots of good information. I go back in four weeks. Enjoy the pictures....we are sure to have an active little one on our hands.....we are so excited!:)
I think that our little ones are both going to be handfuls... :) last week was 22 weeks and I had an ultrasound and he/she was moving like crazy. The ultrasound tech goes "wow, this is one fiesty baby" as if it would be any other way with the parents that it has, hahahah! Jon and I are so happy for you guys! I will work to get some baby bump pics it is definately sticking out!!
